Are they Internal?

Are they considered inside the organisation for the purposes of the project?

E.g. Specialist Business Finance Subsidiary

Are they External?

Or are they considered outside the organisation for the purposes of the project?

E.g. Parent Bank branches, customers, equipment suppliers, Brokers

Note: The organisational boundary between internal and external can differ based on the scope of the targeted project. For example, in an improvement to the payroll process for an organisational group, ‘internal’ would be anyone within that company group. However, if just a subsidiary of the organisation was impacted, then it would be around the subsidiary where the internal boundary would be drawn.
